François-Xavier CATHALA

Born on the island of Ré in 1970, the same year as the creation of the ‘La Martinière’ bakery-pastry shop-ice cream shop, he inherited the same passion that inspired his parents for this project.

He transmitted his passion to his wife Cécile, and their enthusiasm also conquered the hearts of their loyal collaborators, all devoted to a job perfectly done and to team management. He defends the company’s values with determination and uncompromising commitment, favouring the artisanal dimension of the profession and the preservation of French gastronomic know-how. Two clear requirements: the quality of the products, guaranteed by rigorous manufacturing and marketing of ice creams and frozen pastries, but also the quality of the welcome given to customers. The dedicated, committed and closely-knit personnel of La Martinière prepares every new season with the necessary degree of perfectionism to create exceptional ‘delicacies’
